Whoosh. You hear the wind whip the side of the house, the banging of the trees, and the flickering lights. It was only 9:30 P.m. but the hurricane was tearing down the road like no tomorrow. The trees falling down and the creek overflowing, it was a very nerve-wracking experience. Then the lights start flickering on and off and I felt relieved when they came back on and i didn't have to reset my alarm.
The golf course behind my house was drenched and little streams were carrying along pieces of trash and leaves from the fallen trees. I couldn't sleep all night, the sound of rumbling thunder reverberating through out the house; The flash of lightning making me jump too.
